“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.”
Revelation 2:17, ESV
The Manna and the Stone is a blog intended to promote and develop the doctrinal positions of the Bible Presbyterian Church, as well as contribute to the spiritual health and maturity of the body of Christ, wherever it is found.
The BPC is an evangelical, reformed, and conservative denomination, dedicated to the proclamation of the gospel of Christ and lives of active service to the same. We faithfully proclaim a high view of the inerrant scriptures, and affirm the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms as accurate statements of scriptural truth. While we are a small denomination, we have an established history of faithfulness to the Word of God, even while the culture around us shifts further and further away from biblical morality.
It should be noted that The Manna and the Stone is not an approved agency of the BPC. It is fully our intent to seek such an endorsement at synod next year, but the opinions expressed by this blog are not sanctioned by the Bible Presbyterian Church as a denomination in any way. Regardless, our hope is to gather the best thinkers and writers that the BPC has to offer and make their material available for public consumption. Certainly, there may be areas of disagreement between the various authors of this site, but we are united in our committment to scripture, the Westminster Standards, and the testimony of the Bible Presbyterian Church.
